I used to get so stressed just trying to take out my contact lenses, it would take forever to do, even after I had trimmed my finger nails. But now I can keep my nails long and insert and remove my contact lenses within a few seconds and usually on my first try. Before, it could take up to 10 tries manually before I was able to do this. I've tried other aids but the DMV Soft Lens Handler is the easiest to use and most comfortable on my eyes. No more bloodshot eyes for me!
Great Product!

I recently started wearing contact lenses and I could insert them with a limited degree of success and removal was very difficult with my long fingernails. I scratched my eyes several times. I was about to give up on contacts all together until I found this product. It took me a few times to learn how to insert the lens, but I was able to remove the lens easily the first time I tried. I could not imagine ever using my fingers to insert or remove my contacts ever again. I highly recommend this product.
I just figured out you have to use both ends...

I may be slow at times but I thought you removed your lens using the same end that you use to insert lens. I thought there was some kind of suction effect that I just couldn't work out. I went to the DMV website and saw the OTHER end had the gripper pads for removing the lens. Now I think this is a great little tool!
This is the best!

I am 46 and have never worn glasses or contacts until recently. After a week of frustration trying to get the contacts in my eyes, I was ready to give up. I searched the Internet for something to help insert the lenses and came up with the DMV Lens Handler. Now I can get the lenses in without any problems. If it weren't for this product, I wouldn't be able to wear contacts. I wish my eye doctor had known about these when I first got my contacts. It would have saved me hours of frustration and some very sore eyes.
works really well

I bought this based on the reviews here. This is much easier and gentler
than using my hands to remove my soft contacts. I also like it for inserting my contacts because I don't have to worry about lint (from
towel drying after washing hands). |
